Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc. has released a new version of the Vectorworks Cloud Services mobile application, Vectorworks Nomad 2.5.
The 2.5 version of Vectorworks Nomad has been updated to include integration with Dropbox, so users can connect their Dropbox accounts to Vectorworks Cloud Services and access Dropbox files from the mobile application. Also, Vectorworks Cloud Services can now process VWX files that are stored within a Dropbox account and generate PDFs. In addition, Vectorworks Nomad 2.5 includes snapping functionality for floor plans, which allows for precise measurement of distances, angles, perimeters and areas.
"The integration with Dropbox and the improved user interactions for measurement in Vectorworks Nomad 2.5 are direct results of customer feedback," said Dr. Biplab Sarkar, chief technology officer of Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc. "When we surveyed our users, we found that the ability to use available file storage products was one of their top priorities, and their number one wish for improvement was mobile snapping."
Availability
Vectorworks Nomad is available for iOS, Android and Kindle Fire devices and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Amazon app store.
