BIRMINGHAM, UK, Jan 19, 2014 - Delcam UK has increased its sales coverage with the appointment of Ryan Rafferty as Area Sales Manager at the company's recently-opened office in Liverpool. Ryan has come to Delcam from one of the largest Autodesk resellers in the UK.
"Even though we have increased our sales significantly in the last couple of years, we still feel that we could increase our business in the North West, especially with the region’s aerospace and automotive industries" explained Steve Creron, General Manager of Delcam UK. "More and more companies across the UK are realizing the advantages of using Delcam software to program their machine tools. As a result, we needed to expand our sales team to deal with the increased number of inquiries from companies looking to improve their productivity and quality.” Ryan has spent over six years working in Sales Management of IT software and services. He has a wealth of experience in supporting manufacturing customers in the North of the UK. He has provided these firms with the full range of Autodesk Solutions for Manufacturing, along with hardware, training and consultancy.
Ryan holds a BA from Manchester University in Modern Languages (German and Spanish) and lives in Manchester with his wife and daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, snowboarding, golf and cycling, as well as going to the gym.
