Over 200 Attend art2part Inaugural Conference in Pune

In his first public appearance after association with Mastercam, Mr. Vineet Seth, had talked about the growth of the manufacturing world from its ancient past to the future challenges which the engineers be likely face in manufacturing processes.

"Industry 4.0 is nothing but a fourth manufacturing revolution", said Mr. Ajay Deshkar, Siemens PLM. He further discussed about changing the way and the innovation processes in the manufacturing.

"Manufacturing is the fourth industrial revolution. What we know it as Industry 4.0, Germany introduced it as "industrie 4.0" where as USA called it as "smart manufacturing", said Mr. Sambit Pradhan, Director Business Development, APAC, Geometric Ltd. He further discussed about the new trends in CAM industry - Paperless Manufacturing.

Nimue Manufacturing Solutions' MD, Vinno Thimmaih simplifies the definition of virtual reality to attendees, according to him, "virtual reality should be in 3D format, available in 1:1 ratio, realistic, immersive, interactive, it should be feel, touch and may be audible, and should be available in the virtual environment".

A detail about Autodesk's Fusion 360

While explaining cloud computing, Autodesk's Nilesh Doshi previews the exciting features and the applications of Autodesk's Fusion 360 Software to the attendees. He further reminded the attendees about Autodesk's MoU signed with the Government of Maharashtra in the Make in India Week to back MSMEs. The MoU, in which MSMEs in Maharashtra with annual turnover over Rs. one crore will get Fusion 360 Software at a price of Rs 1,999 (plus taxes) with a two years validity. The cost of Fusion 360 Software in open market is about Rs 22,000 per year (approx).
